My hubby recently joined a sports related Internet forum that is focused on sports. He found it at www.addictsports.com. He likes reading and posting comments to the different forums there. He is espcially happy that he found a place that will give him nfl picks for him to use when playing the football pool with his friends!

My hubby loves sports. (Sometimes I think he loves sports more than he loves ME!) He recently bought a new HDTV wide screen TV to put in his “den” so that he and his friends can watch sports without disturbing the rest of the family. At least that’s what he claims! I think it was so that the rest of the family won’t disturb him!

There is an Internet website that has been newly created for proud new parents (like us.) It is called www.bamroo.com and it was created as an outlet for parents to upload their baby photos to share with the rest of the world (at least the part of the world that wants to look at other people’s adorable baby photos! It is a free website, you don’t have to register in order to upload your baby photos. I’ve been to the website, and I have to admit that other people’s babies are adorable too! (Although obviously not as adorable as MINE!) In addition to being an outlet to share baby photos, the website has a lot of links to interesting articles related to babies, such as how to choose a baby name, tips on calming a crying baby, and what foods to avoid if you decide to nurse your baby. All in all, it is a good website, one worth adding to my “favorites.”

Well, if you bothered to read the “about me” page, you will have noticed that I posted on their that I am the mother of a newborn baby. When I created this blog, I really wasn’t sure exactly how much “baby talk” I was going to want to put on the blog. I’m still ambivalent about that. One of the reasons for creating this blog was to try to have some “grown up time” and not be one of those mothers that all they can talk about is their baby! I don’t want to be one of those boring parents who forces unwilling people to look at the millions of baby pictures that I have been taking by carrying a photo album around with me and showing it to everyone I can trap into a corner!
So, I am TRYING really HARD to refrain from every single post being about the most adorable little baby you have ever seen! But, as you can imagine, that is just about the hardest thing I’ve ever done (besides childbirth!) So, I will be posting a few things about baby from time to time. This is one of those times!

Well, obviously buying two computers at the same time is going to take some serious money! So we are considering buying a “Do it yourself” build a computer kit. My hubby is a little bit nervous about doing that, saying he does not know How to Build a Computer, but I’ve been reassuring him that if we buy a computer kit from www.easyasmypc.com will be as easy as pie.
Building a kit from www.easyasmypc.com is easy because they include everything you need except a screwdriver! The instructions have lots of pictures, and the instructions are in simple English. They also sell upgrade kits to increase ram or to replace the CPU. Doing it ourselves, we can save hundreds of dollars.
