Going to LL Bean

My mother-in-law has asked me to join her on a trip to LL Bean in Freeport next week.  We’ll take the baby and make a day trip of it.  I always enjoy going to Freeport, there are so many outlet stores there!  And my absolute favorite store IS LL Bean.  The store has so many interesting displays to look at, I just never get bored there!  So, we will keep an eye on the weather and go on a day when it will be nice out, I don’t want to go on a cold, wet day!

Planning a trip for next March

My hubby’s best friend is a Giants fan.  He has been trying to convince my hubby to go on a vacation next March to Scottsdale Arizona to see the Giants during their spring training.  His friend has already rented a house from a company that deals in investment properties in Scottsdale Arizona.  He said that the house is only minutes away from Scottsdale Stadium.

Thank goodness for studded snow tires!

I am so glad that I have a Subaru that I equip with four studded snow tires in the winter!  I never could have made it through the winter without it!  We have had such bad weather this winter; I’m sure I would have been off the road so many times if all I had was a two wheel drive with regular snow tires on!

My hubby’s a born romantic

I have to admit that I am surprised that my hubby has been extra romantic ever since our baby was born.  I thought for sure that he would be feeling jealous of our baby, and be stand-offish.  But he has been so sweet and attentive, it really is endearing.  He goes out of his way to help me with taking care of housework, and taking care of our baby.  Especially at night, when our baby is crying for hours on end with that awful colic!  He gladly takes the baby and dances around the room to the song “Elvira” by the Oak Ridge Boys, which seems to be the only thing that stops the crying!  (I’m going to start hating that song!)  And it seems that every time I open a cabinet, or a drawer, or even the refrigerator I find little I love you letters with hearts drawn on them!  I’ve got a “keeper”; that is for sure!
