Hubby’s company and their website

My hubby’s boss has been working with my hubby to increase their sales on their Ecommerce website.  They have been looking for ecommerce SEO solutions and think that they have found just the right company to help them to increase their sales.  Search Placement is the company that is dedicated to helping companies obtain more exposure on the Internet through natural search marketing.  Their website is at www.search-placement.com.

Search Placement does not require their clients to commit to a monthly contract.  They provide weekly reports on keyword positions, site metrics, conversions, and detailed explanations of the work done.

Search Placement’s professionals are trained in all major Ecommerce platforms such as X-Cart, Joomla, Zen Cart, VirtueMart, OsCommerce, and more.

Sticking to it

Have been sticking to my work out regimen since starting one in college and I have to say that I never felt better in my life. I also credit my good health to my non smoking and non drinking life style that I lead.  A lot of my friends and relatives over the years have had health related problems or accidents caused by these two things. I am not really a gym person and I work out at home and walk around the neighborhood.

Applicant Tree reinvents job hunting

Applicant Tree is providing a new way for job seekers to find a job.  Up until now, the standard procedure for seeking a job through an employment service is that the job seeker signs up with the employment service, and then employers pay a fee to the service to provide them with information about the job seeker.

With Applicant Tree, a job seeker signs up and goes through a screening process.  When an employer inquires about that job seeker Applicant Tree will give half of the money that they receive with the job seeker.  Applicant Tree feels that by doing this will generate a stronger list of applicants and reduce recruitment costs to the employers.

Hair cuts

Right now I am letting my hair grow out for a while.  I like my hair short, but I’ve heard about an organization that takes donated hair and turns it into wigs for cancer patients who have lost their hair because of the chemotherapy/radiation treatments that they have to go through.  It is called Locks of Love, and they will accept clean hair that is in a ponytail or braid.  They need hair that is a minimum of 10″ long to make the wigs.

Sometimes you can find a local hair salon that will give you a free haircut if you donate the hair to Locks of Love, but sometimes you can’t find one that is generous enough to do that.  I try to go to a cosmetology school to get my hair cut because the students give pretty good hair cuts at a reasonable cost.

If you want more information, you can find it at the Locks of Love website.

Doctors don’t seem to want to treat patients anymore!

More often than not, when I go to see a doctor, it seems as if the doctor doesn’t really want to be proactive in taking care of my health.  It seems as if they are not listening to my concerns and symptoms, and only do some kind of labratory testing if I go into the office and say “I think I have XXXX condition and I want you to test for it.”

Genova Diagnostics is a company that does research and innovative lab testing.  Their website talks about labratory tests and functional medicine tests.  Their website, http://www.genovadiagnostics.com is set up so that patients can go on line and do some of their own research before going to the doctor.  They have a tab for patients to click on and choose what symptoms you are experiencing and then they tell you what tests should be ordered by the doctor!  I will be using this website every time I don’t feel well, before I go see the doctor!
