My brother-in-law loves to play paintball

My brother-in-law loves to play paintball with his friends.  They go to play paintball almost every weekend.  He is always trying to get my hubby and me to join them in a game.  My hubby wants to join in on the fun, since he has played paintball before and knows he loves to play!  He wants to buy a new tippmann x7 package from Ultimate Paintball before playing with his brother, so he plans to order it online within the next few days.

Since I’m still recovering from having a baby, I have to sit out this round, but I have to admit that it does sound like fun!

Cell phones died yesterday

I had no idea what was wrong with our cell phones yesterday, they were simply dead.  I thought maybe we needed new cell phones, that something was physically wrong with our units!  I was glad we had a hard-wired land line, too!  A lot of my friends don’t have hard-wired land lines; they have only cell phones – they think they don’t need hard-wired land lines!  But I have always thought we needed the land lines too!

I read in the newspaper this morning that the problem with the phones was a widespread cell phone service outage that effected the entire area, so now I don’t feel so bad!

My sister-in-law moved away

One of my sister-in-laws moved away to another state recently and faced the daunting task of finding new doctors, veterinarians, beauticians, beauty supply stores.  She recently met one of her new neighbors at a church supper and her new neighbor told her to try the online Health and beauty search engine at www.hbconnection.com.  She said that she should be able to find most of what she needs by using that website.

Marley & Me book

A good friend lent me her copy of the book “Marley & Me” by John Grogan to read.  She said it was a really good book, and cautioned me that I would cry at the end.  She was right, it really IS a really good book, and I DID cry at the end.  I don’t know if I ever want to read a book like that again!  I HATE to cry!
