My father loved trivia

My father was a walking encyclopedia of Trivia.  If it was totally useless information, he knew it!  He loved to do any kind of puzzle, he loved to keep his mind (and wit) very sharp.  I’m sure he would love this new website I found called www.triviamania.com.  It is a fun and fast paced game site where you can compete with others online just for fun, or you can play for money – it is up to the players to decide which game they want to play.

Games

I was raised on playing games with my family.  We used to play a lot of card games and board games as kids.  Our parents used to play them with us.  We played Monopoly, Risk, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, Clue, Hearts, Pennies from Heaven, Canasta, Cribbage, Crummy Rummy, Spoons, and Yahtzee.  I’m sure there were other games we played too, but I can’t remember them all right now.  I can remember how much fun the family had playing, laughing, teasing the evening away.  One of the tests my family would put a new boyfriend through was making him play a game with us.  They wanted to see what kind of a “sport” he was.  I used to think that was lame, but now that I’m older, I think that might have been a good idea!

Men and hair loss

One of my hubby’s co-workers, Mike, was talking to me quite a bit at lunch today.  He was telling me that he has started taking Procerin in the hopes that it will stop hair loss.  He has been losing his hair since his late teens, and had tried other methods without a lot of success, and recently heard about Procerin.  Procerin is a natural combination of minerals and herbs and is available in tablet and topical form.  He said that he ordered a 90 day supply over the Internet at www.procerin.com, and that the company offers a 90-day money back guarantee.  I have balding men in my family that might be interested in his success, so I asked him to keep me informed of his progress!

Lunch with hubby’s co-workers

Today I attended a business luncheon with my hubby’s co-workers and their spouses.  It was supposed to be a morale boosting/bonding luncheon paid for by the company at a very nice local restaurant.  The company rented a private room and the restaurant put on a nice buffett spread for the diners in attendence.  A motivational speaker gave a short presentation, and we played a few games.  I won a $100 gift card from Macy’s!  The luncheon took four hours from start to finish.

All in all, the food was good, and it seemed that everyone had fun.
