My hubby’s boss just called us and invited us to join him and his family for a weekend later this summer on Monhegan Island.  Good grief, I have been to Monhegan Island two times in my life, and that was two times too many!  The vast majority of the island has no electricty – I do NOT like that at all!  I NEED my electricity!  And there are no cars!  No, I take that back, I think there are two trucks to haul luggage from the ferry to the houses.  If all you want to do all day is walk around or bicycle around, or read, then that is the place for you.  Both times that I went over on the morning ferry I got seasick.  NO THANK YOU!  That is NOT the place for me!
