Custom T-shirts and sweatshirts

When I went to my hubby’s office today to talk to his boss about fixing up his office, he started talking to me about how he wants to order some custom t-shirts with the company logo screen printed or embroidered on the shirts to give to his employees.  He is thinking about having a company picnic later this summer and handing out the T-shirts to the employees at the picnic.  I told him I thought that was a GREAT idea and suggested that he order them over the Internet at bluecotton.com.  They use high quality shirts, are reasonably priced, and they have a really easy system for custom ordering the shirts online.

Great white shark scare a hoax

Last week I read a story about how the beaches on Martha’s Vineyard were closed due to a shark scare. Today I was reading on MSNBC.NBC.com that the reason they were closed was that a 60 year old man had claimed to see two large great white sharks swimming near the beach while he was working on a fishing boat. As a precaution the beaches were closed to swimmers. Upon further investigation, the authorities asked the man what boat he was working on. The man told them the name of a boat and the name of the boat owner; neither one exist. So that has been determined to be a hoax, and the man has been charged with disorderly conduct.

Plastic accessories for hubby’s office

My hubby’s boss called me last Friday and asked me to come into their office later today to take a look at their office and come up with some suggestions for decorative and practical solutions to some storage problems they are having.  He told me that they have safety posters on the walls that are ripping and falling down!  He also told me that the employee morale committee has suggested that they put in a suggestion box, so he wants some suggestions on that as well.

I went onto the Internet at http://www.plasticproductsmfg.com and found some plastic products that will solve his problems quickly and easily.  I plan to advise him to use their plastic poster holders for his poster problem; they should hold the posters on the wall and protect them from ripping and falling off the walls.  As for the suggestion box, I found some great donation boxes that they sell that could be used for suggestion boxes.

No more classes being taught at Michaels Arts & Crafts!

My mother in law and I decided this weekend to go to the local Michaels Arts & Crafts store to sign up for some One Stroke decorative painting classes. We were very sorry to learn, after we got there, that they are no longer offering One Stroke painting classes! The cashier told us that the only classes that Michaels is holding anymore are the Wilton cake decorating classes. Although I think that it would be fun to learn cake decorating, I had hoped to learn how to do the One Stroke painting so I could paint a mural on the wall in my baby’s bedroom!

I was so disappointed; I cannot even begin to express my disappointment in words!
