I was reading an article on the Time.com website that stated that the wealthiest 10% account for 25% of the spending in our country. I was surprised to read that! Reading on in the article, it was saying that the wealthy people are just now beginning to feel the pinch of the struggling economy and are beginning to act in a frugal manner. This could be bad news for the economy, because if they wealthy aren’t spending their money, the businesses suffer. If the businesses suffer, they lay off their workers.  Laid off workers lose their homes.

What a mess we are in!
