My hubby and I have been thinking about buying one of those automatic start emergency back up generators. We are tired of the many times the electricity goes off around here, for no apparent reason. When it goes off, it stays off for several hours, and it is a real inconvenience – especially when it goes off when we are trying to prepare a meal! What makes it even more difficult is trying to tend a baby’s needs without electricity. I can’t even begin to imagine what it was like in “the old days” before electricity was invented – it must have been awful!  Can you tell I’m not the kind of gal who would like to go camping and “rough it?”  Give me the modern conveniences!
