Lesbian dating matchmaking service

There is a free Lesbian Dating matchmaking website that verifies the members are real women, and has members in all fifty of the United States.  The website also has members (and matchmaking services) in Ireland, South Africa, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Australia.

The members can post tasteful photographs of themselves along with a short description of their likes and dislikes and what they are hoping for in a relationship.

Golden parachutes

I’ve been interested to hear about the provisions of the big bailout that the USA is giving to the big banks that have been having so much trouble recently.  What has interested me the most was the provisions capping executive salaries and golden parachutes.  For decades now I have felt that the salary of all top executives of all big corporations (and their golden parachutes) have been obscenely outrageously high.

I know the “argument” is that the companies need to pay their top executives that much money to attract and keep them running the companies, and all I have to say about that is “hogwash.”  That comment is an insult to the American consumer’s intelligence.  Their high salaries are sim[ply outrageous, period.

My brother in law bought a new holster

My brother in law came over last night to show off his new gun holster that he bought online from the 511tacticaloutdoors.com website.  He said that a good friend of his told him to check out the website for their Galco Holsters and see if he could find the one that he wanted on their website.

Bats in your coffee!

I was reading an article on the Yahoo Odd News to see what kind of interesting stories they might have on there. I enjoy reading stories about unusual things that you don’t usually read in mainstream papers (although I do NOT read tabloids!)

I was surprised to read about a woman who found a dead bat in her coffee filter after she had drank her coffee! She is undergoing rabies treatments because the labs said that they could not test the bat for rabies.

I guess I’ll be checking the coffee filter every morning before we turn on the coffee pot!

Great prices on customized holiday cards

I love a bargain.  Doesn’t everybody love a bargain?  One of the websites that I have been delighted to find that seems to always offer great bargains is the Vistaprint.com website.  One of the things I really like about that website is that there is a link on the upper left side of their page to eleven different ”free” offers on items such as free rubber stamps and free pens, and free business cards.  (Just to name a few!)

They are having a great deal on customized holiday cards that other companies will find difficult to match.  When word gets out about these great prices they are going to do a lot of business!  I was looking at their cards and found that they are currently having a sale on their cards that looks like it is close to 50% off of their regular price.  And their regular price was a pretty good price to begin with!  They have a great selection of cards, from foil embossed, to photo cards, and some really cute caricature cards where you can make caricatures out of your family members to put on the card.  That one is my favorite!  I’m going to show that one to my hubby tonight when he gets home from work and see if he wants to order that one for our holiday cards this year!  There is a promotion code that you can use to get some free cards, too.  The code is: 10 Free Holiday Cards.  That makes their cards an even better bargain!
