Fixing problems with corrupt file extensions

I found a website today that talks about file extensions.  It explains what they are, why they are important, and how to fix problems with them.  For example, it explains that the File Extension PPS is for the Power Point Slideshow software program.  They have a chart on their homepage that shows the most common file extensions.  You can click on the file extension and it takes you to a page that explains what software program is associated with that extension, and how to fix problems you might experience with them.  I’m going to bookmark this website – I’m sure I’ll need it in the future!

Microwave Popcorn

I was just looking through my cupboards for a snack, and found some Microwave Popcorn.  I was remembering that I read an article a few months back (and heard on television) that there was some kind of health hazard involved with breathing the fumes from Microwave Popcorn.  I was wondering if that danger was something that was just basically involving the people that worked in the factories that were exposed to it all of the time, or if the danger was also involving consumers who only used it once every few months.  I hate to throw it away if it isn’t dangerous!

I couldn’t find the records

My girlfriend sent me a website that is supposed to help you find Criminal Court Records nationwide.  I decided to try to find the records on my brother’s arrest from a couple of months ago, in New York.  So I went to the website and picked out New York, and my brother’s name.  The search mechanism kicked in and just kept spinning.  After about five minutes I gave up, thinking that maybe the site was being overwhelmed with searches.  I’ll give it a try again tomorrow.
