I was looking for the Marriage License Records of my niece today.  My brother had called me, all upset that he had heard that her “elopement” was a sham and that she really wasn’t married.  I found a website that sells that kind of public information, to make that kind of search quick and easy.  You simply enter the name of the person, the approximate age, and the town that the person got married in.  If the database finds the records, you are given the option to buy the information.

My hubby has been talking about buying another big freezer to keep in the cellar.  He thinks that he will be able to fill it this hunting season with a big buck.  I’m not crazy about venison, but he loves it.  I’d prefer to buy a side of beef from the local butcher!  Anyway, I’ve always wanted another freezer to put extra frozen veggies and “tv dinners” in, so I’m all for buying another freezer – as long as it is frost free!  Defrosting freezers is NOT my favorite past time!
