Custom built homes

I’ve been seeing a lot of news stories about “McMansion” homes – modular homes that are huge modular houses that have been cropping up all over the countryside.  Just the term “McMansion” that has been tagged onto these large homes is offensive to me.

These cookie-cutter type modular homes may be large, but they just can’t possibly be as nice as a custom-built on your lot house built by Schumacher Homes.  Schumacher Homes has been building high quality custom homes for the past sixteen years in Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia.  They offer over fifty floor plans, all of which are completely customizable to suit the needs of the families that they are building the houses for.

Sagging pants

I was reading an article on the Time.com website about how a town called Riviera Beach Florida made it illegal for anyone to wear pants that dropped below the waist, exposing underwear or skin.  I know that the law was intended to be directed at guys who wear saggy pants that show their underwear, but it amused me because I had to think about all of the young women that I know who wear “low rise” pants that are below their waist, that exposes their beautiful midriff sections.  I had to wonder how many of these girls would get ticketed by police for wearing their clothes that way?  I just cannot even imagine these lithe young women wearing pants that come up to their waist – they would freak out!
