Recycling solvents
I am a big fan of reduce, reuse, and recycle. I try to encourage everyone to do everything they can to reduce their own personal pollution output. I think that if everyone chipped in and did their parts, we could help keep this earth “livable” for a long time. I do find, however, that there are a lot of people who resist doing anything to keep the earth clean. Some of them even go so far as to pollute on purpose, out of some kind of defiance. I think those people probably suffer from Oppositional Defiance Disorder or something like that. That’s really a shame, too.
One thing that businesses can do to help is to get involved in Solvent Recovery. Instead of just dumping their solvents and wastes, they can purchase either a Solvent Recovery System or a Waste Recovery System. I recently learned from the nexgenenviro.com website that a lot of industries that are generally thought of as “clean” actually generate wastes that can be recycled. I think that solvent recovery is a great idea! I hope that more companies get actively involved in that type of recycling!
