I love going to home tours.  Every now and then some kind of club will sponsor a home tour where people pay money to go through other people’s houses to see what the inside of their houses look like.  The money often goes to some kind of charity or good cause.  I like to go to them because it gives me the chance to get decorating ideas (and it lets me see how the wealthy people in the area live!)  There also is the chance that you might get some tasty refreshments and meet some nice people while you are at it!

We’ve been invited to hubby’s boss’s house for Thanksgiving dinner this year, and my hubby accepted the invitation.  It will be nice to go and not have to worry about making such a big meal for the holiday.  I seem to have my hands full with the baby and it is hard to get a whole lot done, now that he’s crawling around and getting into everything!   I hope they let us bring leftovers home – if not I’m going to have to get a turkey breast and cook that myself so we can have some turkey here at home for sandwiches.  As far as I’m concerned the leftovers are just as great as the original meal!

I love a bargain.  Doesn’t everybody love a bargain?  One of the websites that I have been delighted to find that seems to always offer great bargains is the Vistaprint.com website.  One of the things I really like about that website is that there is a link on the upper left side of their page to eleven different ”free” offers on items such as free rubber stamps and free pens, and free business cards.  (Just to name a few!) 

They are having a great deal on customized holiday cards that other companies will find difficult to match.  When word gets out about these great prices they are going to do a lot of business!  I was looking at their cards and found that they are currently having a sale on their cards that looks like it is close to 50% off of their regular price.  And their regular price was a pretty good price to begin with!  They have a great selection of cards, from foil embossed, to photo cards, and some really cute caricature cards where you can make caricatures out of your family members to put on the card.  That one is my favorite!  I’m going to show that one to my hubby tonight when he gets home from work and see if he wants to order that one for our holiday cards this year!  There is a promotion code that you can use to get some free cards, too.  The code is: 10 Free Holiday Cards.  That makes their cards an even better bargain!

My hubby’s boss loves Cartier watches. Last night we went over to his house for dinner and he was showing us his collection of men’s cartier watches. He had quite a large collection! I could see that he was very proud of his collection. I suppose that having so many luxury watches is a big status symbol to him. He was trying to convince me to buy one for my hubby’s Christmas present this coming Christmas. I told him that he would have to give my hubby a huge Christmas bonus if he thought we could buy a luxury watch like that!
